Christian Revivals, Inc. was incorporated in 1962 by brothers Curtis and Gordon Gentry for the sole purpose of propagating the gospel. Since the beginning, we have continued to grow in our understanding of the purpose of God and how God wants to build His church. The outreach began in south Florida, reaching out to migrant workers laboring in the sugar cane fields of Belle Glade. From 1965 to 1985, the Christian Revivals Bookstore (with Gordon Gentry as manager) and Garden Grove Christian School (with Curtis Gentry as principal) reached out to the community in West Palm Beach. Gordon also traveled with other brothers many times to Jamaica, where they saw the Lord move in wonderful and mighty ways. Then God opened up the door to the Far East, and for 25 years, Gordon and other brothers visited the Philippines approximately once a year to encourage believers and to help strengthen local churches and ministers.

For about 30 years, Gordon Gentry produced a 15-minute broadcast entitled "God's Miracle Hour," desiring to bring the message of salvation and encouragement to believers to gather together as God has designed in the locality in which they live, so that they may be built up and strengthened. This was broadcast by short-wave radio to China, India, and the Far East, and in later years, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The purpose continued to be to meet needs in individual lives and to encourage ministers who were laboring in local churches. After initial contact by radio, literature and cassette tapes were made available free of charge to those who wrote.

After the passing of Curtis in 1994 and Gordon in 2002, the ministry of Christian Revivals continued as a publisher of literature, books and audio messages under the direction of Jeffrey Gentry, Gordon's son.
